Dreams.

When it pains in my heart,
Memories of your fall from my eyes,
I watch you sing and then melt in my arms,
From the happy tears to the day after.
Sitting there in the dark corner,
I remember how your cold fingers felt,
Seeping in my care, warmer by the second.
Sitting there in the dark corner,
Trying to put it together.
Recalling the dreams, I remember waking up in the night.
Dreams that lead you to me.
From the lies to your face,
To the times they stabbed your numbness.
Taking away the beat of your heart,
Pulling from the rhythm we create.

This pain it sticks,
Walk away and it'll follow.
Believe no word, they're tricks.
Their hearts are all too shallow.

Hold my hand right now,
I've been here all along,
Stumbling to everytime you let me down,
Still here I don't like the dreams,
Clearer than the ocean,
You could walk right through me.
In the darkness, I've been your light.
In your sadness, I've been your tears.
When the time was right, I've been your pain.
When the time was right, I've been the blame.
Still here and still in love.
Walk away or walk my way.
