One Thousand Heartbeats.

Look at me,
Amidst the crowd, where you walk,
With your head held up so high,
Are you still pulling me?
Holding the end of my rope,
Are you turning back?
And looking at me falling behind,
Undermined by so much,
Undermined by every gem you find.
Every word you say is a threat,
And every look you give,
Find me in the darkness,
Leading me to my tears.
When you walk among the colours of rainbow,
Do you think of me too?
In black and white, unable to voice my pain.
In my screams, shunned by the weather.
And you completed every word I'd say,
You looked at the star before I called your name,
You and me together, you felt my pain.
I'm a thousand miles away,
Under thousand different suns,
A few thousands word to say,
Take my thousand heartbeats away.

One thousand moments,
They've made one thousand regrets,
You've given me heaven,
And without you I'm lingering,
To all that you give,
Getting me used to the best,
From where you are,
From what you've done.
I'm walking towards heaven,
And you keep pulling me back,
I miss everyday, I called your name,
I'd see you smile and I never felt you fade.
I miss every moment, one thousand moments,
And ten thousand heartbeats.
Rise me from the dead,
Amidst the crowd, where you walk,
With your head held up so high,
Are you still pulling me?
Holding the end of my rope,
Are you turning back?
And looking at me falling behind.
Take my thousand heartbeats away.
