I can't touch you, not more than I can touch the sky.
I can feel you here, I know you're here.
Beyond my reach but I can feel my heart.
My tears dry when I cry at night,
Isn't it you in hiding?
Isn't it you that pulls me through,
All those nightmares where I feel the warmth,
Isn't it you holding me tight?
Isn't it you calming me down?
But I can never see you, never hear, never touch.
But I can feel you here,
Like you're my shadow, my soul, my life.
And indeed you are, away from you,
I lose them all,
And with you, I have everything I need.
Isn't it you that completes me?
With so much that you are,
More than words can say,
More than eyes can see,
More than the heart can feel,
More than my love for you,
You're so much, more than all of me.
