You lead me away from here,
Every morning, holding my hand.
Like these painting on the wall,
These slow ticks of the clock,
This dim light, lighting with your voice.
Sparkling and flickering,
Like our eyes inside these sheets,
Hours and hours, we wait for this.
Hours and hours I leave out my hand,
Until the rain falls down,
I feel your pulse on my cold skin,
Bring colour to my pale, dry, rough.
Smoothing out every inch that hurts,
So bold and comforting,
No eye for tomorrow,
I just see you here,
From behind your beautiful hair,
You stare at me,
From behind that beautiful smile,
You say the words,
They numb me down,
They give me shivers,
Its dark in the light,
Raining with the sun.
And when the world falls down,
With you in my arms,
I smile and watch it break.
I can stay here and breathe forever,
For all I need, with the world with me.
When you're in my arms.
You lead me here,
From the corner of this city,
To the middle of this road.
In the brink of the sun,
When I miss you so much,
If this distance brings us together.
From the corner of this place,
You lead me to places,
This fear of losing you,
Keeps me far from you.
